(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born in Glasgow, 5th December 1853; recalled by Archbishop Eyre, 25th July 1876, sent to Partickhill, and ordained a priest by Bishop McLachlan in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow, 4th May 1879; died in Cambuslang, 7th April 1891.

Thomas Cunningham was the son of Thomas Stuart Cunningham And Mary Clark.

The Rev. Thomas J. Cunningham was born in Glasgow on the 5th December, 1853; entered Blairs College on the 4th August, 1868; and was sent to the Scots College, Valladolid, in May, 1872. In August, 1876, he was transferred to St. Peter’s Seminary, Partickhill. He received Minor Orders from Archbishop Eyre in December, 1876, and was ordained by him Sub-Deacon on the 21st December, 1878, and Deacon on the 19th March, 1879. He was ordained Priest by Bishop McLachlan in St. Andrew’s Pro-Cathedral, Glasgow, on the 4th May. He was stationed at St. Mary’s, Greenock.
